Child Safety Standards

Effective September 22, 2026 · Ardents Dating LLC

These are the published child safety standards for Ardents Social, the social app developed and operated by Ardents Dating LLC and available on the Apple App Store. The same standards apply to our Ardents Dating app on Google Play. Ardents has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form.

1Zero tolerance for CSAE

Ardents strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited, or AI-generated imagery.
  • Grooming, or any attempt to contact, befriend, or build trust with a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sexualizing minors in text, photos, video, profiles, stories, or group chats.
  • Sextortion, trafficking, or soliciting, advertising, or arranging sexual contact with a minor.
  • Sharing links to, or requesting, any of the above.

Any account involved in CSAE is permanently banned without warning, and the content is preserved and reported as described below.

2Adults only (18+)

Ardents is for adults 18 and older. Every member must enter a date of birth at signup, and anyone under 18 cannot create a profile. Members complete a video selfie verification that is reviewed by our team before they can message other members. Any account we believe belongs to a minor is removed.

3How we detect it

Every photo and video uploaded to Ardents, public or private, is automatically scanned against known child sexual abuse material using Microsoft PhotoDNA hash matching, and videos are not playable by other members until that scan comes back clean. A match is removed immediately, the uploader's account is frozen, and our safety team is alerted.

4How to report it in the app

Every profile, photo, story, and message in Ardents has a Report option, and any member can be blocked instantly. Reports go directly to our moderation team, who review them with a target of 24 hours. Content reported for CSAE is removed and escalated the moment it is confirmed.

5Reporting to authorities

Ardents Dating LLC complies with all applicable child safety laws. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, as required by U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and we cooperate with law enforcement. Evidence is preserved as the law requires.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement (911 in the U.S.) right away. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

6Child safety contact

Our designated child safety contact can be reached at hello@ardentssocial.com. Include "Child Safety" in the subject line and your report will be escalated to the person responsible for our CSAE response and NCMEC reporting.
